ANHAM Employee Profile | Jessy Gonzales-Abad

ANHAM EmployeeJessy Gonzales-Abad joined ANHAM in September 2014 as the Claims Department Manager, tasked with implementing the legal claims process for the Afghanistan and Kuwait SPV contracts. With her help over the past 3.5 years, the Claims Department team has recovered over 74 percent of the valid damaged cargo claims for ANHAM FZCO worldwide.

During her time at ANHAM, Jessy has grown as a Claims Manager, learning from the ANHAM management principle that encourages managers at all levels to participate in the entire SPV process. For example, her exposure to the Quality Assurance/Quality Control Department’s operations and challenges equipped her with managerial skills and first-hand knowledge of the entire cargo process that has helped her when dealing with international and local carriers. As a result, she has become a more effective litigator for ANHAM’s rights throughout the Claims Process.

The openness and encouraging management style of ANHAM FZCO has added to her growth as a manager. Jessy looks forward to continuing her involvement in the company and, just as she has been mentored by the ANHAM management, she hopes to pass on what she has learned to our next generation of supervisors and FLM’s.

Gonzales-Abad graduated with a B.S. from the Industrial Engineering Program of De La Salle University – Cavite, Philippines in 2006.
