ANHAM Employee Profile | Sabina Eric

I joined ANHAM in October 2013 as an Inventory Coordinator for the PV Project in Afghanistan. My first assignment was in Kandahar, where I was in charge of controlling multi-temperature warehouses and containers. During this time I was promoted to Inventory Supervisor. The facility ran at an extraordinary pace, and despite this we were able to maintain a near 100% stock accuracy, an achievement of which I am personally and professionally proud.

ANHAM Employee Sabina Eric

Sabina Eric

After a year working in Kandahar, I was recognized by the senior management team as someone willing to step forward and take on greater responsibility, and so in October 2014 I was offered the chance to be transferred to the operation in Bagram, a far larger and more complex operation that held 36,000 pallet spaces over multiple multi-temperature chambers. It was an opportunity I could not allow to slip by.

We have attained inventory accuracy over and above globally recognized standards and ensured these standards are maintained through teamwork, dedication, and passion for the job.

I was very thankful for the opportunity given to me by the senior management and very proud of myself, as I was taking a big step forward in the short space of time I had been with ANHAM.

During my new assignment in Bagram, I have had the chance to continuously learn new techniques and improve myself as both a manager and team player. After a great deal of hard work, I was recognized again and promoted to Deputy Inventory Manager. My role as a Deputy Inventory Manager involves the implementation of inventory control systems and procedures in order to achieve and maintain inventory accuracy targets in line with the company’s standards. We have attained inventory accuracy over and above globally recognized standards and ensured these standards are maintained through teamwork, dedication, and passion for the job.

My professional goal is to contribute to ANHAM’s continuing success, assist with reaching company targets and provide a “best in class” service to my team, the company and our customers.
